 2017 John Simcoe Awards
Dear Constituents of Simcoe-Grey,
John Graves Simcoe was a British army officer and the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada. John Simcoe dedicated his life to making Canada the best place in the world to live.
Within the riding of Simcoe Grey, we have many dedicated people who enrich the lives of others by performing selfless volunteer work. If it wasn't for these volunteers, our community would not be what it is today.
The John Simcoe Award will be presented to a wide range of constituents – young person, an adult, a senior, a business and a service club that have made a difference in Simcoe-Grey. These people will have gone above and beyond in making a positive difference in the lives of others through volunteering.
All nomination forms must be submitted by 4:00pm on January 31st, 2017 will receive written confirmation of the outcome of the nomination. A congratulatory ceremony and luncheon will be held for recipients and their guests in March 2017.

The Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario, Foodland Ontario, Holland Marsh Growers Association, Simcoe County EDO and Simcoe County Federation of Agriculture in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures are pleased to support our local agricultural community by hosting the annual AgKnowledge Forum. This year's forum will be held on Thursday, February 09, between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm at The Club at Bond Head. There is no cost to attend and the event includes a delicious lunch made with local foods. We will end the day with a strategic planning session – bring us your ideas for next year's forum
